Abbey Charlton

Marketing and HR Manager

Abbey is our Marketing and HR Manager, responsible for the internal and client relations at Greenhalgh Pickard. As Head of the Marketing Department, she is responsible for conceptualising, developing, and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and increase brand awareness for both the firm and external businesses.

She oversees all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, retention and culture, conflict resolution, training and development and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Abbey oversees the marketing process from market research and analysis, to campaign development and execution, to performance monitoring and reporting with the assistance of Cara and Melinda, who make up the rest of the Marketing team here at GP.

The team works to further the firm’s digital and local presence while building brand equity and recall. As an advocate for learning, writing and self-development, Abbey is determined to evolve continuously on a professional and personal level. As a young aspiring female in the corporate landscape, Abbey is grateful to work in an environment that prioritises sustainability, career progression and gender parity. She brings her passion for people and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into every interaction. 

Born and raised as a Sunshine Coast local, Abbey is strongly connected to the tight-knit community and appreciates the opportunity to relish in the local beaches, mountains and weekend markets regularly. She is an avid lover of pursuing an active lifestyle, be it stand-up paddle boarding or a 5 am gym class, she is energised by movement daily.
