Community Sponsorships

At Greenhalgh Pickard, community involvement and sponsorships are at the heart of our values. We take pride in actively supporting local organisations and initiatives that make a positive impact in our community.

Whether it’s sponsoring youth sports teams, participating in local charity events, or collaborating with non-profit organisations, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us.

Proudly Sponsoring Liz Watson in the 2024 Lightning Season

We’re thrilled to share we are sponsoring Liz Watson from the Sunshine Coast Lightning for the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season.

Liz’s remarkable talent and leadership both on and off the court make her an inspiring role model for young women in sports everywhere. She is the Australian Diamond Captain and two-time Premiership winner, consistently ranking at the top of the competition.

The Lightning’s sustainability initiative, powered by the Suncorp Super Shot, promotes environmental stewardship by planting trees in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast for every Super Shot scored by Lightning at UniSC Arena in 2024.

We are thrilled to support her journey and witness her incredible skills in action. Go Liz!

Proudly Sponsoring Polley the Story Dog

We’re thrilled to sponsor Polley the Story Dog, two years in a row! Polley brings joy and support to the primary school children at Coolum State School. Story Dogs creates a safe, fun, supportive, non-judgmental environment for primary school-aged children needing assistance with literacy.

Through one-on-one reading sessions, Polley fosters confidence and literacy skills in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Our team proudly participates in Coolum’s Paint the Town Read, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the next generation’s literacy development.

Proudly Sponsoring Buderim Mountain State School Circuit Crew

Greenhalgh Pickard proudly supports Buderim Mountain State School’s Circuit Crew, a coding club for students in Years 4-6. Through engaging with Lego Spike robots and collaborating with peers who share their passion, students not only acquire new coding skills but also foster a sense of confidence and curiosity.

As these budding engineers and programmers progress through the year, they put their skills to the test in various coding competitions, including the prestigious RoboRave event held at the Sunshine Coast University.

Greenhalgh Pickard recognises the immense potential of these young learners and proudly supports their journey, knowing that they represent the future of STEM innovation on the Sunshine Coast. We aim to empower and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technologists to reach for the stars.
