Rachel Gallacher

Solicitor

Rachel is a Solicitor in Greenhalgh Pickard’s Family Law team. Prior to commencing her legal career, Rachel worked extensively in the retail industry, managing stores whose annual budgets were in the multi-millions. This experience allows Rachel to easily connect with clients and address their wants and needs in an uncomplicated and down-to-earth manner.

Before practicing in Family Law, Rachel practiced in Civil Litigation and Commercial Law. Her extensive experience includes resolving building and contract disputes, acting in matters before the District and Supreme Courts, preparing leases, buying and selling businesses.

Rachel is a born and raised Sunshine Coast local. She is passionate about our environment, animals and wildlife. Rachel assists Greenhalgh Pickard with expanding on existing in-house sustainability initiatives, as well as developing connections within our local community that serve to protect and enhance our spectacular local environment.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys gardening, keeping active and spending time with her family and friends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (Hons)/Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science), University of the Sunshine Coast
• Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, College of Law.
• Certificate of Admission, Supreme Court of Queensland.
